Spain to postpone VERI*FACTU to October 2028 to align with B2B e-invoicing
Spain's Ministry of Finance intends to postpone the pending VERI*FACTU obligations for businesses and professionals to October 2028, so they start at the same time as mandatory B2B e-invoicing for companies with a turnover of up to €8 million. The software providers' obligation, in force since July 2025, is not affected. A second amendment will then align both regimes with ViDA.
Spain's B2B e-invoicing mandate officially starts in October 2027
Spain's Ministry of Finance (Sp. ‘Ministerio de Hacienda’) has published the ministerial order that sets the timelines for the B2B e-invoicing mandate. The deadlines for the start of this mandate now run from October 6, 2026.
