Iceland’s government approves temporary VAT reduction on fuel

Iceland's government has approved a set of temporary economic measures, including VAT reduction on fuel from 24% to 11%, running from May 1 to August 31, 2026. The measures are aimed at protecting consumers from rising oil prices linked to tensions in the Persian Gulf.
